We are excited to announce that CLTRE has been selected as one of the six organizations nationwide to participate in the New Growth Innovation Network’s (NGIN) Advancing Economic Mobility (AEM) Initiative! This recognition reaffirms our commitment to fostering inclusive economic development and driving positive change for communities across the west coast.
What is the AEM Initiative?
The AEM Initiative is a powerful collaboration between community organizations and local governments that focuses on promoting economic mobility and sustainable development. Selected organizations will receive up to $30,000 in grants and yearlong support to enhance their economic mobility strategies. This initiative aims to strengthen partnerships, share resources, and implement impactful solutions that benefit underserved communities.
Why Inclusive Economic Development Matters
Inclusive economic development is essential for creating opportunities that benefit everyone, especially those who have been historically excluded from economic growth. At CLTRE, we believe that economic mobility is the key to building thriving, resilient communities. Through programs like our CLTRE Keeper First-Time Homebuyer Program, we focus on providing financial education and support to help families build wealth and stability.
By participating in the AEM Initiative, we aim to advance our mission of inclusive growth, ensuring that economic development creates long-term benefits for all members of the community.
Our Fellow AEM Cohort Members
We are honored to be in such great company with the following organizations:
- Mini City Inc. (Metro Atlanta, GA)
- Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL)
- Confronting Racism Coalition (York, PA)
- Greater Topeka Partnership (Topeka, KS)
- The Black Founders Table (Baltimore, MD)
Together, these organizations represent a national movement toward equitable development that focuses on creating sustainable, community-driven change.
What This Means for CLTRE
For CLTRE, this opportunity means greater support in driving inclusive economic development across Sacramento and beyond. With the grant and expert guidance from NGIN, we will be able to strengthen our initiatives, collaborate more effectively with local governments, and implement strategies that focus on economic mobility for BIPOC communities and other underserved groups.
What’s Next?
We can’t wait to dive into this initiative, bring innovative strategies to life, and showcase the power of inclusive economic development in Sacramento. Our participation in the AEM Initiative will further position CLTRE as a leader in transforming communities by making sure that economic growth benefits all.
